The first and only Virtual Boy Emulator has been released. The name of the emulator is VBEmu98 and it
is already available to download at the Emulators Page. This emulator, written by David Tucker, emulates
the now discontinued Virtual Boy. This portable console
was planned to be a big hit among users because it featured
3D Games. Since it was clunky and basically had ugly
graphics (based on a red colored screen), people discarded
it and eventually it got discontinued.

As weird as it may seem, this console got emulated and it plays
games from the not so many that were made available.
You can find more information of the games that have
been dumped at the VBEmu Page using the link above.
Since Nintendo is so picky about the ROM images being
distributed, I will probably not host these. However,
if you have your own copies, you can probably find them
around the net and download them.
The author points out that a Linux version is available at
the home page. But this file is corrupt and will be updated
tomorrow Monday, when he gets some time to upload it again.
